The Agenda will include items below (Item 2 onwards from 8.20 pm)
1. Pat Baxter (Head of Transport, Reading Council and James Freeman (Chief Executive, Reading Buses) will speak and answer questions raised at show and respond to the parking survey including:
(i) Parking In Tilehurst –response to survey of local business people
(ii) Current state of plans for the station, road layouts ,bus stops, and car drop off/pick up and taxis , location of public facilities like loos for bus passengers
(iii) How are the plans communicated- eg can we have easy to read maps ( with landmarks identified. Current plans seem designed for technical purposes, not communicating with the interested public
(iv) Outline of how will the plans be achieved- what is happening now
2. Show on 5 June -Issues and future actions including:
(i) How it went
(ii) how to get people into our stall-who do we want to attract? Not a crowded area- eg small table
(iii) ideas for quizzes – what about a quiz including questions with answers on the display boards
(v) do we want prizes that would be attractive to adults or children- eg sweets ( not choc –heat problems? )
(vi) Strap lines say what we are about : ‘developing a neighborhood vision for tilehurst’ and how we do it : ‘residents and businesses working together’ . Would using them more prominently be sensible?
3. Show on 15 August – run by residents organization so mostly local people suggest try out ideas
4. Summer Walk on Wed 14 July (note change of date) using NEW MAP: walking in Tilehurst and Purley look out for posters re meeting place

6. Business a) deciding about bulb planting: timing ,location, or two big locations or scattered , choosing do we have one bulbs(mixed?) who i/c? order bulbs during august?
b) Waitrose community matters donation
c) RBC grant –current grant formalities , future issues., finding more sponsors?
